Berger Paints India Ltd consolidated sales up 24.96% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit surged by 20.81% As on : 05-Aug-26  17:47

Berger Paints India Ltd share price gained 1.41% to Rs 533.8 after the company's net profit saw a strong growth of 20.81% to Rs 405.01 crore, while revenue from operations increased sharply by 24.96% to Rs 3583.75 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Paints industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 3.38 lakh crore, jumping 16.10%. It has marginally improved by 0.13% over last one week and ticked higher by 7.76% in last one month while the market capitalization of Berger Paints India Ltd has inched up 2.59% and 9.49% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Berger Paints India Ltd stood at Rs 542.59 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 28.34% year-on-year, and surging by 23.74% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 569 crore, improving 13.72% YoY and expanding by 23.61% sequentially. Total expenses soared by 23.80% to Rs 3079.37 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 1916.95 crore, soaring by 27.75% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 245.08 crore, improving by 10.20% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 2.91% to Rs 11880.25 crore, while net profit softened by 4.63% to Rs 1128.02 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 179821% to Rs 1726.6 crore, and PBT slipped by 5.12% to Rs 1488.1 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 1540.04 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1269.05 crore in FY25. Berger Paints India Ltd retreated by 6.29% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 3.20% during the same period.
